Master Captains David and Janet MacNeil have 12 years experience providing Elixir’s guests with the ultimate day of pampering on the Elixir day Cruise and the dreamy Sunset Dinner Cruise in the Caribbean.
David MacNeil
Master Captain
As a former US Naval Officer and fighter pilot with sailing experience since 1973, David MacNeil’s love of the sea is unyielding. Both David and Janet hold U.S. Coast Guard 100 ton Master’s Licenses. David is also a certified rescue scuba diver. David retired from a 30 year career as an international airline captain with over 20,000 hours flying transatlantic and Caribbean routes. David’s experience, combined with his naval tenure, help make Elixir the epitome of safety and reliability.
Janet MacNeil
Master Captain
Janet, who serves as the second part of the team of captains of Elixir, adds professional experience in the service industry, attention to detail, and gourmet cooking. Janet holds an advanced open-water diver certification with several hundred dives.
